Did you ride today?

Az. This is a very remarkable achievement. At least for me riding two days in a row is hard and you put together four days averaging a metric century!!!! How do you do it (or is your name Clark Kent)?

Great job Az!
Thirty miles tonight. Good hard ride. Puts me at 100 for the week. Might hit 160 for the week which would be my maximum since I started riding nine weeks ago.

Rode to work today! Rode home from work! Again, unseasonably not-hot weather. 21 miles.

20 miles and a fall going down a hill attempting a right turn at a decent speed in wet conditions. Besides my wrist being sore I am ok and so is my bike.

Rode yesterday to where I work for a weigh-in (14 lbs. of pure fat lost). At 6:30 when I left if was already 97 degrees.
Did a "Le Tour de Bullhead" today with plenty of water stops. . . .

20 miles. 140 for the week. I think my bike is damaged from my crash yesterday. When I go up hills and shift the gears go all over the place.

Rode Violent Crown club's Bagel Ride today. At the stop 5 of us turned around to do the "short ride" which was 60 miles. 25+riders did 75/80 miles. Averaged 19.5 for 50 miles and 19 for the 60.
Around 2200' of elevation. Great tempo ride, The racers controlled themselves. Temp was only 80 degrees or less when I finished-unheard of for Austin in August

It's too freaking hot today. I did a mile but I didn't pedal. BB doesn't need a recharger, just some Rachel Ray kibble. Range 3 miles. Speed... generally about 17 mph.

Club ride for 40 miles and added 11 for 51 at 19.1 average. Club riders pretty frisky today.

23 mile tandem ride this afternoon. A bit hot but not bad for August.

Did my 4th Mountain Mama ride in Monterey, VA. Good lord this is beautiful country. 100 miles, 10k+ of climbing, and some beautiful weather. They said 50% chance of rain, and high 60s for temps, so I was prepared for a miserable day, but it was just about perfect. I felt stronger than I have in the past, too (Note: stronger != faster). I did the last three climbs with no real strength or cramping issues (got some beauts in the middle of the night though, but that's pretty normal for me.)

25 mile late morning ride on the Screamer today from our suburban home to farmlands and back to the suburbs.
This was the most significant hill on the ride; disappointed to not be able to see right through the hill to the other side but at least the sign let us know that was the situation.

Back from our Alaska cruise on Friday and did a 44 mile ride on Saturday morning. Felt really great to get back in the saddle.
Went to the MUP this morning to ride with the wife, daughter, and son-in-law. Got there and had everything ready to go when I realized I didn't take the lock off of the chainring on my wife's trike. And of course the keys were at the house. Figured on an afternoon ride but got rained out.

Carpal tunnel is no fun. I recently had left hand surgery resulting in some improvement but only time will tell as to how much better it will get.
Started Saturday's ride at 0230 with 63 miles done at an enjoyable 17.2 average even though temperature was 79F and high humidity. Added 33 more miles on the LBS's ride at 22 average then a cool down 16 miles more.

A nice and comfy 33 miles this morning before getting rained out. Didn't want to push it since my groin muscle I pulled last week is still not 100% back to normal.

Rain. So I was driving to the gym where I would run on the treadmill. During my drive I thought " I always ran in the rain, why am I going to gym ?" I turned the car around and got my bike and did my 20 in the rain. Feels great to get my bike mileage in. I might run later but I love riding now. My 10th week and I'm addicted.
30 minute run tonight.

20.3 mi. @ 9.4 mph, >4,900' of elevation gain.
Rode up Trail Ridge Road in Estes Park CO., first attempt for me, made it in 2:08.xx I thought it was a pretty good result for me having been in the mountains a day and a half before the ride. All of my pre-ride cycling time was done at 900-1200' elevation.

Two miles riding around the neighborhood this evening. Find myself taking more short rides on days when I would otherwise not ride at all ---> Gaming the National Bike Challenge points system.
