Slipping behind on posting - 38 miles yesterday and 45 today. Nice start in the mid 70's but that didn't last for very long.

No ride second day in a row, yesterday cold and rain. Today colder and snow! I don't need to ride that bad.

No ride today. Planned on a slow, 22 mile ride with the wife this morning but when we got ready to go, she noticed the back tire on her trike was flat. I patched it yesterday but it didn't hold so I had to wait until the LBS opened to get a new one (and a few spares). By the time I got everything done, it started to rain.

8-1/2 mile neighborhood loop, by the local shops, saying hello to the other hipsters - cloudy but not sunny

25.5 miles this afternoon, the storms are going around our area but it did cool off a slight bit.

No ride yesterday. Too much time spent getting stuff to get the wife's trike back on the road. Did a pretty nice 34 mile charity ride this morning to benefit brain tumor research. Great ride but one of my teammates had several mishaps on the ride, including a broken spoke, a flat on his bike and his car. Poor guy just couldn't win today.

Rode in and out of the rain, varied from bright sunny skies to dark and overcast, all in just a few miles each time. 25.45 miles over a different route for me.

41 miles on a tandem club ride. We were far and away the slowest team and took several shortcuts in order to stay near the group: The others rode 51 miles and still finished ahead of us.
Fun ride, all in all. Cool at the start but warmed up. Lots of hills but none we couldn't get up.
We encountered several steel grid bridges, like the wet one we fell down on two weeks ago. As instructed by the stoker, we walked across those bridges today. (Bruising and soreness almost gone from our left hips/upper legs.)

I just bought one of those neoprene rubber armbands for jogging with a smartphone. I downloaded those Apps "MapMyRide", "MapMyRun", etc... for the smartphone, and decided to try it out.

I rode a simple 8.6 miles through the neighborhood, and the smartphone app accurately mapped out my ride, where I went, time, and calories burned. Very cool app for a smartphone. I could have brought along earbuds and listened to MP3 tunes (i.e. Chicago - Greatest Hits) but don't know if that is a traffic/safety issue or not.

Planned century turned into the 80 mile route...because I bent my front rim at the first SAG...wind caught my bike while parked in the rack....and it could not be fully trued...need a new rim

The stoker's words are spoken with wisdom. We have our own type of steel "bridges", cattle guards. I won't ride across them either.

Did 30 miles 13mpg average, 1240' climbing and 946 calories.

Was on a group ride, while a bit on the slow side it was very social.

That does indeed look treacherous.
