Mid 50s, not much sun, light breeze, for a 14.5 miles ride @12mph on the trike. I've only had this beast since late January and already have over 500 miles on it.

We didn't have much snow this year in Reno. I think Boston imported most of it. Gonna be a dry summer, the Truckee River is already 4ft below normal.

29.65 miles this afternoon, absolutely wonderful riding weather today. Blue skies, very few high stratus clouding, WSW winds that were mild, and temps in the mid 70°F area. After all the rain this week, missing 2 days for weather and getting wet on 2 days, this was nice.

Greybeard, 500 miles on your new trike already is good stuff, well done, sir, well done.

Rev, we call those a mountain ride here in Florida, its all we have to work with. Even the Interstate overpasses are about as steep as it comes. Actually, in the northwest, where I am, it is rollers when we get off the coastal plain. Those are fun to work on, I take what I can get, and love it for what it gives me.

Ten mile Pi Day ride but no pie today. Maybe tomorrow will be Pie Day. Springlike weather is a nice change.

So after yesterday's ride, having to climb those big cross channel bridges, my buddy Lou suggests that for today's ride we go to the Upper Suncoast Trail. It's about a hours drive north of me and has, by Florida standards, some pretty good rollers. We are trying to get Lou's dad ready for the MS 150 on May 2-3 and the area where the MS is being held is much hillier than where we were today. Other than my legs getting tired on the return trip, it was a very nice 37 mile ride with some great riding buddies.

10 triking miles in 25mph winds (40mpg gusts). Nasty! I've noticed I present a much lower profile on the trike than a two wheeler, but that wind is still a force to be overcome. I'm not fond of wind on either type of HPV.

110 miles, 4300' of climbing at 17.5 mph. Perfect Carolina weather for the last half of the ride. I felt like I could have gone a few more hours. All the long winter rides are starting to pay dividends.

33 miles today on the tandem in the pouring rain, 43°-46°. Group ride, but only we and two singles showed up. They both flatted, but we didn't. Had a great ride anyway. Lots better than the alternative.

I had not pedaled a single stroke from the first week in January due to too much snow on the roads. Yesterday, at long last, I rode the bike down to the library and back, a total distance of 4 miles. Today I'm taking a recovery day.

Twenty miles round trip on my bike commute today. Far above freezing this morning and extremely pleasantly warm in the afternoon.

I rode to Bristol and back to E.P. last week. Lots of water on the road. Today I went North up into Mass. A lot dryer now. I'm still riding with fenders for now.

Yes. Racked up 148 miles last week; this week every mile counts. The Mr. is out of town; his dog I just took a listing, and enjoyed a ride as well.

Two miles and change. I had a bad chest cold and sore throat over the weekend, so I went out to see if I could ride through it. Decided I couldn't. Missed out on a beautiful warm spring day...

Saved the gas and rode to the VA today. Took the long way home via the river bike path for an overcast 55° 14.5 mile ride on the Roubaix. I'm not quite brave enough to ride the trike on the streets yet (too low, hard for motorists to see even with the bright orange flag and blinking lights). Without the sun it was still cool enough for long sleeves and a lite jacket.

Took the day off yesterday but had a nice 35 mile ride today with temps in the 80s again. Had to change the right front tube on the wife's trike before the ride. The replacement tube split down the middle when I inflated it and had to replace that one. Lapped the wife seven miles from the end of the ride and finished the ride with her.

Yesterday's ride: 25+ miles, another nice Florida day. We set a new record high, 87°F, it felt great to ride without tights, or a wind jacket, these last several days.
