16.6 miles (26.7k). Still low on red blood cells, tired. It was almost warm today.

Every time we start a warming trend, we get another cold front bringing frost warnings, and unseasonably low temperatures.
In a couple months when we are sweating in high temps and humidity, we will wish for some of these cold spells.
Got in 2 hours and 10 minutes after a little warmup today.

63 miles with my buddy, Frankie, on Thursday and 54 miles with another riding buddy, also named Frank, yesterday. I needed the fast paced ride we did yesterday since I hadn't really done one in a while and was starting to lose confidence in myself about doing one. I have the MS150 in two weeks and I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to keep up with my teammates. After yesterday's ride, that worry was put to rest.

I got in a 121 minute ride on a perfect goldilocks day. First thing, I got up early to get to the grocery store before my bike ride. I had to get the goodies to grill. So now it's time to fire up the BBQ grill for the first time this year.

FINALLY did my somewhat over-nighter that I've been wanting to do this week after last Sunday's 167 mile Cross Florida. Left my driveway at 9:18pm last night for a wonderfully peaceful 80 miles by the time of my return. Very few cars, bunny rabbits, an opossum and birds with a sleeping disorder. Had to shower, re-kit, have some eats and managed to grab a couple of zzzzz's then back out at 7:41am heading to LBS for today's ride. Another nice turn-out of 20 riders with the A+ contingent heading out first then the rest of us. Having 85 miles in I let all know that I was ONLY sucking wheels until things broke up. After 8 miles there was only 4 of us, 8 miles more then 2 and 6 more miles down to SOLO until mile 119 when I picked up a companion and we rode the 6 miles back to the shop together. Hung around for a bit and then back out with 3 others again pulling me along for 1 mile until I see a shiny coin as we ride by. Turned around, picked up a nickel and then 20 more SOLO miles for a 146 mile total today.
Have my Prostate Cancer biopsy on Monday for possible recurrence then a week of rest and our local Relay For Life 12 hour Overnight event on Friday. Last year I rode 152 miles throughout the night and was going to shoot for 175 miles this year but not sure now that I'm having the biopsy. Will try my best because that's all I can do.

Well, I’ve been largely absent from this site, lots of things going on and my dad passed away (he was almost 88, so he had a great run, sadness but no regrets).
Wife and I are spending the weekend in Sarasota, I brought the Domane and I took two long rides across the causeway into Lido, Longboat Key, and all the way up to Anna Maria Island. Didn’t track the miles, but I’m guessing over 50 round trip. What a beautiful place to ride and clear your head. I could move here, no problem!

A 99% chance that it has returned since Axumin Scan showed positive and it is Gleason 10 so have been expecting return for 3 years now. As long as it is still small can continue to treat easily. Time will tell.

(Got a Senior Drink at Arby's today for 59 cents. Being aged not all bad.)
This old man rode 36 miles today on a club ride on country roads northeast of Indy. Longest ride this year.
Not much growing, yet. No opportunities for corn inspection.

15.1 miles outside yesterday, first time outside this year !!!
It felt great to be off the trainer/spin class and out on the roads again (although a bit different).
We still have patches of snow here and there, and the roads are in awful condition after the long winter.
It was about 50 degrees with 15-20 mph winds, so a good ride....
Mounted brand new Conti Grand Prix 4 Season tire on the bike Friday.....
I think they will be good spring and fall tires.

25 miles yesterday, 33 miles today. Temperature upper 50s. Still a foot of snow on the ground from last weekend's blizzard. Roads mostly dry, but some places underwater from snow melt. Glad I rode a bike with mudguards!

Nice Sunday AM ride, very quiet, a bit breezy and humid. Peaceful 30 miles. I’m going to build up slowly as I’ve lost a lot of ground the past months.
