26 miles on the tandem this morning on a club ride. A couple of very mild hills.

Went down to Ocracoke Island, NC for the long weekend and rented bikes and a trailer to haul our luggage and beach gear around the island. Wonderful restaurants, B&B, and beach, complete with multiple dolphin sightings.

32 mile ride on the local bike path on my 1985 Cannondale ST 400. It's been raining a lot so I've been taking my arkel tail rider along as it holds a raincoat plus other stuff I know I don't need. I rode it pretty easy since I rode pretty hard yesterday.

30.5 miles on my 1981 Nishiki Maxima. Longest ride after the C5/C6 fusion in January. Other than some sore muscles it went great.

Well, yesterday. My post from the Hybrid forum...
I left before dawn for an easy spinning 22 mile ride on my 2013 Fuji Absolute 2.1. It was a beautiful morning in Lewisville, Texas on Memorial Day.

Early morning illumination.

Moved it out of the road to here

Too much to do today, so at least I got in a real quick 7.60mi spin around the neighborhood. 28:33 for an (avg) of 16.0 mph, which was a real nice cruising speed too.

Here's a hilarious image that begs for a caption: Anybody seen the "Headless Horseman"? How about Ichabod Crane? LOL...

I got 62.4 miles in today. Got out at 6. Best part of going out early on a Sunday morning. No traffic and so far it was a cool morning. But those are just about gone, cool weather that is.

Attended a tandem weekend at Fort Wayne with about 23 other teams and rode 26, 29, and 31 mile rural routes on Fri, Sat and Sun. (Those were the short routes.) Very wet up that way - saw no farmland with crops planted and lots of standing water in the fields. (Dry weather for our rides)

New here... I'll be 75 in July. Riding now for exercise and because I'm attempting to lose weight. Working on 60-minute rides at least twice a week. Since January I've lost 32 pounds. I'm slow on uphills. How can I speed that up???

Up in the hills this morning putting in some good mtb riding on one of my hardtails. Got a rear flat on my last run. I guess my tube couldn't take what I was throwing at it. lol

Just now back from a 2.5hour ride, starting just before dawn and finishing under cloudy skies and diffuse lighting. 67F. I had no particular plan other than ride and enjoy. At the end of the greenway, I stashed my helmet behind a downed tree and carried up the rocky trail, just to soak in the green and birdsong. Back on the road I picked routes counter to the incoming commuters. Everything went great and so far this year my body is saying yes to riding, which hasn't been true every year.
I really love this little section of road with the tree tunnel. I'm not crazy about whoever used the herbicide. I'd guess that's the power company tree and vegetation crew being over-diligent, since as you can see there are no actual power lines.

My riding partner today!

Harvest time.

I left a water bottle on this bench a month ago. I swung by the store to see if they still had it.

I ran into a friend out doing a training ride and he took this picture. Cloudy!

This is a really good friends driveway. While he lives out in the country his driveway is easy to spot!

Stopped by Jersey Mike’s for a #6 combo a couple miles from the house.
The golf course wasn’t available to us today so enjoyed a nice 81 miler with 4200’ of hills. Great day to ride, cloudy and cooler.

From 2:30am to 4:00am in steady light rain. I started in the neighborhood, unsure how it would go, but it seemed OK so I eased out into the wider world. No race car stuff. I'm looking at eight days of forecast rain, so I fit one in while I could.

Got 53 miles in. Mother Nature was good to me and kept the rain away. Very overcast which was nice but still humid.

Yep, every day.
The weekend was a good ride, and now I am over 100 kms every week. Today is a bank holiday here, and a perfect day for riding, because traffic is down, but I had big rides on Saturday and Sunday, and still got my errands done. Other than riding back and forth to the gym, I will just walk today.
