Did you ride today?

Wow, don't know how some of you ride in the temperatures that you post!
My ride this morning was 48F. A beautiful morning. Woke very early, so went riding. Wanted to try for 40 miles, but right hip complained.
Here's a picture of rising sun this morning at 5:33 am in Kenai, Alaska about 11 miles into my 28 mile ride.

Yep, kinda hot in America's Heartland today. And Humid! 33 miles this morning with a dozen other riders on a repeating M-W-F club ride. Finished both 20 oz. Polar Bottles of water plus a small hot mocha at the Mickey D's midway stop.

Headed out this morning at 6:30 to beat the sun and temp getting high. It was 77 deg. F and high humidity. Also wanted to get my ride in before the beach traffic got real heavy. Put in 32 miles, stopped and got a couple of pastries, and was home around 8:30. It is noon now with the temp closing in on 90.
Headed out at 12:34AM today after early evening showers. Temps cooled down, awesome almost full moon, traffic very light but still more than usual. Found 3 cents but it took 128.28 miles of searching.
If we want to ride, we put up with the warm temps.

Set my phone alarm for 10:30PM last night so I could get out by 11PM. Fell asleep around 9:35PM and my system had me wake up at 10:25PM. Just couldn't get my butt into gear so was a bit late getting out. Ride was going great and around 4AM I needed a comfort stop. Trail Head has nice facilities so in I went, flipped the latch, took care of things and LATCH WOULD NOT RELEASE!!!!!.

128.28 miles today, 125 miles Thursday and 112 miles Tuesday. Tomorrow I rest meaning yard work.

Thankfully had tools to unscrew assembly and let myself out but it took 15 minutes. NOT USING THAT ONE AGAIN !!!!!

10 miles this morning before the heat. Not too bad for a gal who has only been cycling for a couple of weeks. I’m really getting comfortable with this and loving it!

I got my bike in May and already have 623 miles on it, and I'm not in good physical condition at all. Just kept pedaling without overdoing it

Adventured into the cloud covered heat of Atlanta to get parts for a DIY bike rack project! 17.4 miles total.
Been trying to keep up with my (chronically under-reported) mileage on https://www.mygacommuteoptions.com Since Jan 2014:
734 trips
4613 miles
1.9 tons of pollution kept out of the environment!

21 and change today. Mid-high 70s, sunny, but very windy I rode mainly NW into what seemed to be a NE wind between 10-15 MPH. I was afraid of wearing myself out before getting home; hence 21 miles. Besides, son and GS are arriving in a few hours, and we still needed to clean stuff up for them.
75th birthday tomorrow. That number has me thinking I'm old is a way that 74 never did. And yet I'm riding better this year than at any time since I started biking again in 2013. In fact, I've gotten better each year since 2013.
In any case, I'm looking forward to spending tomorrow with partner/wife, son, and grandson. I do believe we'll have a good time....

18 mostly hilly miles with my oldest son this morning. We haven't ridden together in a few months. It was a nice change of pace.

Almost 70* this morning and I went to work at 0200. Got out of prison at 1300. Ten hour day today and an hour less tomorrow. Did a pickup at an ER as the "client" and the officer went out in an ambulance and had no vehicle to get back. Medium level client, I didn't have to rock a Glock. Picked them up and was back at the facility before 0500. Pretty good day after that. Was quite mild riding home. And no I didn't pick them up on the bike. I drove a prison van. You know, expanded steel wire on windows and a cage in the back. A successful day. It was eight miles total today. Be Well. Bluesfrog.

10 miles today before work. Excited that I am already getting faster. Nothing near what many of you can do, but definitely faster, and twice as many miles, as when I started cycling about 2 weeks ago. I ride around the neighborhood mostly, so a lot of slowing down required. I am curious to see how I can do on a bike trail without the restriction of intersections with cars.

Getting faster 😁

12 miles this evening on the short wheelbase recumbent in lovely almost-cool but sunny weather. Had missed a couple of days riding due to wasp stings on both ankles last Thursday. Rode 33 hot/humid miles the next morning - the stung areas were worse after that but don't know if that was impacted by riding. Much better this afternoon.

This morning, 3:15am to 6am, 60F and lovely. Out into wooded farmland. Heard turkey, cows, chickens. First ride in a week (since surgery). I'm cheating a little because I was going to wait until Friday but it was so nice ... The post-op instructions said no sweating for three days and no baths/swimming for ten days, but the way I sweat the no-swimming rule could apply. But it was chilly and I took that as license.

Drove out to the coast this morning to avoid the heat. Cool enough that I needed arm warmers.
A beautiful day, blue skies with a bit of offshore fog. 47 miles, just over 3 hours. These little coastal roads are great.

Pigeon Point Lighthouse

Gazos Creek Road

Wurr Road

30 something (?) miles today: taking special recycle items to Center for HArd to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), using the outbound trip to test loaded "anything" DIY rack (I give it a B- before improvements). Then a shorter circuit to the hardware store and to get wife some sparkling water.
