Quick

I must have picked up a bad habit by following the posts on this forum. Bought my second bike in 6 weeks today. The purchase today was a Cannondale Quick 2. Going to be replacing a Bridgestone CB Zip for everyday transport. The other purchase was a Cannondale Synapse C-3.
Think I better stay out of LBS for a while!

It took me about a year of reading this forum before needing a second bike. You learn fast.

What do you mean "bad" habit? N+1 is the natural order of the universe.

I've only bought one bike this year (DaHon Curve SL 8-Spd), but I sold two (KHS Mocha and Ti GT / Ultegra). So that makes me N-1 for the year!

You know you have a serious problem when you start buying bike just for the parts.

You need one more. We always need one more. N+1 always applies.

I must be a mutant - I had 2 from the mid 90's up to about 2 years ago when I aquired a third. Last summer a stray was thrust upon me and I tried to adopt it - although we have not parted company I have found it a new home - so back to 3 soon. I also tried to convince myself to build up a new touring bike but that hasn't taken hold either. I guess I have achieved bikequilibrium at 3.
