She Kept me for 45 Years

She Kept Me for 45 Years

Friday, July 3 was our 45th.

We've been married longer than some of the younger folks on this forum have been alive.

But, we were in the hospital with Andy on the 3rd, so it was a different kind of celebration!

You should have added ... And Counting!

The thread title scared me. It reads like past tense.

No, that's not better.

Congratulations to both you and to Mrs. Fox! Mrs. Grouch and I have several pairs of friends who have been married for roughly that much time. I think it's neat because they all seem so comfortable with one another.

So sorry to hear about your son being in the hospital. I hope things are going better for him now.

Congratulations, that is a wonderful milestone to make. We were in a training class today with some people in different departments and the topic of marraige came up. Me and two of my coworkers combined have been married 8 times. That would be one for me, two for one of my friends and 5 for the other.

I ain't workin' with him! He's a bloody cow orker!

How many cow-orkers do you have...

45 is a great occasion. We're at 31.7 (and counting) but another 13.3 is a long time.

You've been married for roughly 65% of your life now.

In 10 years it will 69%. It keeps getting larger. You are a statistician - when does it reach 100%?

I only have 10, and wish I'd have met my sweety long enough ago that we'd have 45 together.
Congrats. Life can be good.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and dining with Denver and Nora -- they are wonderful folks.

Patricia E. and I celebrated anniversary #36 in June. I never forget our anniversary, because it is exactly 3 weeks after her birthday (and two months and three days before mine -- Denver and I both appreciate older women ).

Is there a rule book about what does and does not belong on a road bike? Are you the author? Somewhere during the last 11 years I missed that rule book.

Why do I have to switch to a flat bar if I have inline brakes. Is that another "rule?"

Wow, mine has only put up with me for 34 +...

She was off today, and after double checking my odometer, we road our anniversary count today on some new trails, plus our normal daily route, that included a free concert in the park.

Congratulations Denver and Mrs.

Three women have put up with me for a total of 13+8+15=36 years. Can't say I'm too proud of it, though.

I think proper syntax is "She's kept me for 45 years so far"

Congrats, D & N! That's awesome!

We'll celebrate #28 next month. Seems like it was just a few years ago, not a few decades ago.

It's a good life.

Congratulations!
That is 5 times as long as mine lasted! It would have been 30 this year. Wow thinking about that sort of scares me....sort of.
Again congratulations on 45.
