Steel is great! I have 3 Reynolds steel bikes from the 70's and 80's, one 2004, and a couple non Reynolds steel 2009. The 2009 steel cross bike is almost as light as my modernized 1990 carbon frame.

I'm just curious about how a 17 lb 60cm modern carbon would ride.
