Did the obligatory Bday ride
 
I rode my age today (61 miles). The first 48 was a very nice loop from Bowie, MD to Deale, MD (near Annapolis), accompanied by my wife. This is beautiful country. Rolling hills, horse farms, even a couple of llamas - too bad I forgot the camera. We had lunch in Deale on the waterfront. No pie (I am not a fan) but I did have a Good Humor bar at the end of the ride. When I got home I ran up an extra 13 miles around town to fill out my age. When I get to about 75-80 I'm thinking I will switch to metric :)

Great area - I use to sail the Chesapeak back before fisteria and when the crabs were plentiful and you could still find good oysters.
