Hit the pavement, hard - walking to the bike shop!
I can't even remember the last time I fell on my bike - I think maybe I fell once, softly, in the grass while attempting a track stand in 1981. (I consider myself lucky, not skillful).
But today I parked my car across the street from a bike shop, was going to run in for a small item, and tripped and fell while crossing a small patch of grass to get to the shop. Turns out there was a three-inch-tall stub of a tree stump hidden in the tall grass - I hit the stump, and tumbled down a slight incline, right onto the sidewalk in front of the bike shop. Since I was going slightly downhill, and almost half-jogging down the slope, I really hit hard, and as I started to fall I actually thought my face was going to hit the sidewalk first.
Luckily, I caught myself with my hands - but since I wasn't wearing biking gloves, I got some fairly painful road rash on the heel of my right hand.
Not sure whether I get to call this a bike accident since I was headed to the bike shop? A traffic accident because I was leaving a parking lot? A farming accident since it involved an unkempt bit of nature hiding a stub of a tree stump?
To make matters worse, the bike shop was just hanging up the "sorry, we're closed" sign when I reached the door...
Though I'm 99.9% OK (my hand might be a little sore riding my bike tomorrow), it was another reminder that pavement is a lot harder today than it was 30 years ago. Yee-ouch.

You might try to make a case for "unclipped stump", but I doubt that the awards committee would look upon it favorably. On the other hand, if the stump could be proven to be from a flowering bush..............well, "unclipped petal" would at least sound a bit better.
