30mph winds today? Yikes
 

I had hoped to go out for a bit today. I really, really want to.
But we have 55 degree temps with 30mph winds on the coast today.
I don't think so... :(

And I don't blame ya!

You see a problem, I see opportunity.

If you can get somebody to either drop you off or pick you up (depending on the direction the wind's blowing) you should be able to set a new personal best speed.

Had the same problem here- but fortunately I couldn't ride. Have to tomorrow but hopefully the wind will drop a bit- Otherwise it is find a route into the wind on the outward trip and just pray it doesn't change direction for the retutn.

The toughest part is going along the beach with winds out of the west
Can you say "Sand blasted"? Not pleasant.
And, logistically, my rides start north to south and come back south to north (duh)
The winds here are generally, NW to NE... pretty much I'm going straight into it the whole way back.
I like the idea of the "personal best", though :D

Honestly, it's been a tough week on my legs. A little rest can't be a bad thing :(
