I changed clothes 7 times yesterday
6:00 Out of my jammies (matching SpongeBob Squarepants tops and bottoms), into cycling rain gear to ride into work
8:00 Arrive at work, park bike, shower, and change into office clothes
11:00 Change back into cycling clothes to ride across town to a seminar I was leading
12:00 Arrive at seminar, change back into office clothes. Lead seminar (which was taped, so I had to look "presentable")
6 p.m Change back into cycling clothes, ride home in the rain
7 p.m. Change into jeans and boots, go to barn to help daughter feed horse and clean stall *
11 p.m. Put on jammies (Friday night: Transformers**)
I considered commuting to work in some clothes I could also wear to work, but the threat of rain (which materialized in the late afternoon) made it tricky. I think in the future I'll have a valet follow me around town in an RV, so I can just hop off the bike, shower and change in my portable dressing room.
* Note: the fact I had an another outdoor chore to perform prevented me from slipping on my Hugh Hefner-style silk lounge pajamas. Maybe next time.
** Friday night used to be Thomas the Tank Engine night, but I outgrew the jammies with feet.
