Aug 2014: Eased into a diet slowly on a little to no processed food and very little sugar. And NO BEER! ugh. I was 300+ lbs. For breakfast, a homemade smoothie.
Jun 2015: Started cycling a bit on the roads with an old mountain bike. Cut way back on the bad carbs; cut out bakery bread and pasta. Lots of homemade healthier meals.
Dec 2015: Bought a road bike. still on the diet. Pedaling more now and enjoying it.
Today: 220 lbs. and very happy about it. Spent a bit of money on clothes and they became baggy. For me, easing into the diet and riding did the trick. Looking to drop perhaps 10 more lbs. I went from a screaming' 46 waist pant size, now down to comfy 38. I am happy.

59.75 (yes, 0.75) 5'-6" or 7", not sure, 165. Don't know weight at 18. Mom bought me 'husky' sizes as a kid. Gain weight by looking sideways at a donut. Lost 25 lb over the past 5 years by simply not having a desk job, little else, but I still love a good craft brew and gin-n-tonic.

You do realize that people who are embarrassed about their weight -- i.e. bigger people -- won't post here so the results are basically worthless?

You're going with an average of the first ten? Is that statistically significant? Are the first ten significant? I know I feel insignificant sometimes.
How many 50+ers hang out here? (<50ers/50-ers are insignificant)
An insignificant 195 can't remember if that is pounds or kg.
