Yes, I know. Always been that way. But my colleagues are now saying wow Richard, you're a bit bulky these days!

I've posted before about me and food and size, so don't need to repeat - but to summarise

Skinny runner as a teenager, still a 100 pound cox (steering passenger!) in serious rowing crews
Became insulin dependent diabetic in early 20s with weight down to 70 lbs
(Before that, was a national finalist in bike racing!)
Diabetic advice back then was 'don't eat anything at all. If you have to, fill up on cheese' .Luckily, things have changed
Now, love to cook, love to host, love to taste, hate to swallow! A bit conflicted about food. Quite happy to go 2 or 3 days without

OK, back to the thread

I better not post my weight as I appear to be a statistical anomoly in this group and I don't want to corrupt the results.

50+ers are a pretty smart bunch. Weight without height is pretty meaningless.

190 and 6ft @ 63 years old. Shrunk an inch over the years, was 6ft1 for years. Also was around 170 most of my life, unexplained weight gain in last year, leveling off at current 190. Was scared it wouldnt stop. Would prefer to weigh my old 170.

Hi,

52 years-old, 5' 7" when I stand up straight, 153-154 lbs -- need to get under and stay under 150 lbs without losing too much muscle mass.
