Budget build for my son awaiting spring.

My 21 year old son is planning a cycling holiday with friends next summer. He has never done much bicycling so I am really happy that he know is more into my favorite sport. I found a very slightly used set of Ultegra parts, bought some more and found a takeoff frame from a Norwegian Sportsstorebrand bike. The wheels are bought (and built by) from BF-member Lectron several years ago. The whole bike cost me about 1000 $.
Now if only the snow could start melting instead of just accumulating....

Thats a good looking build. The handle bars are a little low for most of us here, but your son is probably more flexible than we are.
