Tis the season-----------
Goatheads.

Thought you were announcing an Early Christmas---After the Christmas Carol "Tis the season to be Jolly".
Never seen them- experienced them or want them. One American Export you can keep for yourself. |

I had to stop the other day and chastise the county workers that were cutting down tumble weeds on the side of the road, dragging them into the bike lane, and leaving all the crap behind after they picked up the big parts. They actually seemed to care while I was there...but I drove down the road later and nothing had changed.:notamused:

They come from a creeping weed that loves to grow right next to roads. As the weed dries out the goat heads fall off and are moved by the wind. As you can see from the picture that was posted they are called Punturevines. The seed has the sharpest points on it you will ever see short of a cactus.

I love the lack of GH's here in the East. Gonna be visiting the old home in Idaho in a couple of weeks. Hope the GH's aren't too bad....
