Good for you!
I really like the 1996 Litespeed Classic I picked up earlier this year.

I love my 2001 Litespeed Tuscany.
Got pics of the new bike?

Beautiful bike (ya gotta wash it, tho!), but I gotta ask...why is it locked to a tree? Are forest gnomes going to jump you and steal your new bike?... j/k
It still needs a bath, though!

I took my bike and the dogs out together and left the bike for a few minutes while the dogs took a swim.So I locked it up despite the fact nobody goes there. As far as the bath...As soon as I find atub that will fit us both I'll wash it.It fits great in my king sized bed!!

Back 15 years ago, I was trying to decide between the Litespeed and the GT Xizang (titanium frame). I can't recall exactly why I ended up with my Xizang, but I haven't regretted a moment with her. I'm sure I would have loved a Litespeed as much, though.
Now, after over 15 years with my "baby" and a couple rounds of component upgrades to keep up with the times, I'm absolutely paranoid about theft. I understand locking your baby to the tree. It's a damned good habit to have!

It appears to only have two gear rings. I'll be happy to take it off your hands to correct that deficiency.
By the way I rented a Lightspeed, I'm not sure what model, a year ago. Nice ride.

Awesome, super Awesome!!
Everyday, I am finding out that life can get sweeter, and sweeter!!
That is indeed a sweet bike..
Not only that, 30 years ago, my son gave me a used Raleigh Competition. I am still riding, and by the biggest conincidence, he told me yesterday, that he got a line on a used Litespeed, and if he gets it, he is going to send it to me!! I won't beleive it until I see it. And I will post pics..
Congrats, the bike is awesome, and I know you gonna look super cool on it!!
