N+1

Mrs. Grouch bought a new recumbent tricycle today. It's a Greenspeed GT3 (tadpole). She's real excited. Actually, she's outside riding it right now. The remarkable thing about this trike is that, folded, it will fit into the trunk of her Saturn SL1. We drove her car up to the bike shop and told them that if they wanted to make a sale, it would have to fit into her car. They found a way.

My friend has one.
She can hold 25 mph on it.
Takes it apart and puts it in a suit case for airplane travel.

Congrats on the new trike. Don't let her fall asleep while riding. I'm still waiting on my Formula LE to be received by the shop.

Your friend doesn't seem very excited with hers. In fact, she appears to have dozed off.

Here's hoping Mrs RG is a bit more enthused with hers. And RG, doesn't this mean you have permission to N+1 yourself now?

He's probably waiting for the carbon X-Stream to go into production.

My wife fell and is now afraid to get on her bicycle again. I have been trying to talk her into our getting a tandem; so, she can ride with me. She is too afraid to get on a tandem. She is convinced that she would like a tadpole trike. I think the Greenspeed trikes are really excellent, but she wants a more upright seat. can you post a picture?

I actually got on a CatTrike Pocket after my wife tried one. Even though it was too small for me, riding it was a blast.
