A Sighting ?!?!

There's been talk around the neighborhood recently of a strange apparition zipping about.

The descriptions have been sketchy at best.

Reports indicate that she's long, sleek, roams the neighborhood in the dark of the night, glistens golden when seen by bright lights, is fully manned, and believe it or not....she's flying the Jolly Roger off the stern !!

I'll be out cruising on my 'bent this weekend with my camera at the ready and if I'm lucky I'll catch a glimpse of her. Yes, I'll let you know what I learn.

All right!!

We saw it!!

Floating right down our street it was, and a fearsome ugly sight for sure!!

We had a tough time getting a picture of it because, after all, it is an apparition.

Yeah I know, it's kinda blurry. Fear not though because as luck would have it ...it's turned around and it appears to be coming back to check us over!!

We'll try for another image.....

....it's getting closer.....

.....Oh My God, is it ever ugly!!!!!

Where in the nether world did this thing arise from?

O.K. Here we gooooooooo......

What a hideous creature, and that one on the back didn't look much better either!

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

If I could have Lady Godiva, I would trade in my "Lady Xizang" (GT Xizang) and ride her instead!

Cool post. Oh your stoker could stand to lose some weight to get into "racing shape".

I love it! I need to rig one up to stoke my tandem! Ride around just waiting for that "she's not pedaling" comment! Thanks for this!

Definitely need to get it pedaling.

Go one further, rig a bike so the stoker steers, then put the skeleton on front with the stoker blacked out as much as possible.

My original intent was to have Mortimer pedaling in the Stoker position. I retrofitted him with knees, hips, and ankles. Unfortunately he's too short. Maybe next year I'll build some leg extenders!
