I don't know. Are you a good person or a bad person? :)

Anyway, welcome to the lunatic asylum.

Where is your pie and what flavor do you like?

Metric Man 11-08-10 06:22 AM

Club Tombay? Or the 50+ club? Either way welcome...you are among an elite group.

Does it matter? You can't go back even if you wanted.

thompsonpost 11-08-10 06:32 AM

It depends on the color of the socks you're wearing.

Consider the possible alternatives.

doctor j 11-08-10 06:51 AM

Well, considering that the alternative is that you would be dead. I guess we'll categorize it as a good thing. :thumb:

Welcome. Did you bring us pie?

Please don't.

Tell us about your ride(s), and what will be +1.

ColorChange 11-08-10 10:05 AM

OK, no pie but definitely birthday german chocolate cake.

Did a double up cyclocross race over the weekend to celebrate, and survived.

And yes, the doctor is trying to get me to do an up periscope but since there is no family history, I'm thinking of doing the virtual version? (Is that close enough to bowel movements?)

The colonoscopy is a very good idea, despite having no family history. It's the pre-cleansing that's a bit rough, but you'll get through that, too. Make sure you have a driver to bring you home, as the drugs will whack you out for a few hours. PG

Welcome abroad ColorChange. As an aside, did you do the spring ride out of New Glarus a couple of years ago with the Chicago group? As another aside, the problem with the virtual version-if they see something you will need to redo the prep.

Welcome, young initiate! You are about to be indoctrinated into the wondrous secrets of 50+ bike riding. Just remember that what happens within these walls stays within these walls! Or else we send out The Enforcers!

Yes. It can be both. Depends a whole lot on your attitude and outlook on life.

stapfam 11-08-10 11:07 AM

Don't believe you- No pics of the bike and no Pie.

ColorChange 11-08-10 11:16 AM

I will put together a portfolio of my bike stable. Give me a few days/week. Cervelo SLC-SL (road), Cervelo P3C (tt), Specialized S-Works Tricross Carbon (cross), plus others.

OK - but not good enough. What about the pie? German Chocolate cake doesn't quite hack it.

Daspydyr 11-08-10 11:32 AM

Well it should also coincide with things like a colonscopy and other general medical check up. Don't delay, its like your original question, good thing/bad thing. But its a real thing.

Admission to this distinguished group is definitely a plus! But the 50+ jersey orders "I THINK" just closed a few days ago. Next spring you can order one of these speed enhancing and "all the rage" bike jerseys. Keep watching for more.:thumb::)

Louis 11-08-10 11:34 AM

Welcome to the forum. Now you get to be just like us.:innocent:
