Made it to 54 and want to match Dnvrfox year for year!

Well today is #54 for yours truly, no riding due to the incision still suparating but I made work this morning, the Navy CT/EW/IT school is still standing so I suppose all is well. I decided to keep the triple on the C'dale 500T and plan to begin evening rides with the wife next week so we can relieve some of the stress from our jobs. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Riding with the wife sounds more stressfull to me---Or at least it is with my wife.

Can't put up with all the whining---Or so she says.

Well. I have been told I am acting more juvenile every year, so I guess we should meet somewhere in the middle - let's see . . . . . . I used to be a math teacher, so I ought to be able to figure this out . . . mmmm . . . . . . . . .Well, I hope so!!

17 years difference.

If I get one year more juvenile each year, and you get one year older and wiser, we should meet when you are about 62.5!!

See ya there. :)

One of our sons just celebrated 55th b'day this week.
Not stressful at all riding with my wife; been tandeming TWOgether since 1975 and still very HAPPILY married!

My wife and I cycle together happily. She likes to pass me, which she usually can do early in the ride. I get her on hills though, and I'm usually faster toward the end of the ride. My style is suited to all-day riding. She's an aggressive sprinter. We're both happy in our roles, though, and our rides are a lot of fun.

Well we have ridden together since 1977 when I bought her her first road bike. A lot of club rides in the late 70's and early 80's and we even rode tandem a couple of times on the clubs road tandem so it is no stress for us. I have known her since we were 5 Y.O. and we went through school and college together. She loves riding and getting outside when we can.

Dnvr, Monica was a math teacher I am only an engineer so I'll let ya'll figure the math. U.S. Marines aren't big on thinking anyway:rolleyes::roflmao2: Stap I won't try to address Royal Marines, ya'll are a different breed:thumb:

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and funny and kind thoughts 50+ is by far my favorite forum, hands down. Oh and I got my usual pie instead of a cake too. My favorite, southern pecan pie!!!!!!

Regards,
Bill
