Hmmm, people with metal blades attached to their shoes carrying sticks so they can smack a round black thing across the ice; it almost sounds as ridiculous as grown people riding bicycles.

I thought that is what the sticks were for.

I used to play hockey as a kid. Strange as it might seem, skating was one of the hardest things on my knees and I had to give it up. Of course the knee problem could be related to the number of times I went down per game.
