Specialized Roulux?

I have a Trek 7500, a few years old, but in great condition. I'm thinking of getting a second bike. The Specialized Roulux 1 is appealing to me. The handlebars curve back somewhat, a departure from the usual flat bar hybrid. They call the ergos "body geometry".
Anyone have experience with one of these?

I love the ergo bars, but I have small hands. I suspect they may not be as comfortable for those with larger hands. I didn't like the wider ergo bars that came on my Roubaix; so, I swapped them for Ritchey 40 cm carbon fibre ergo bars. I really like the Ritchey bars.

No experience of the Roulux

But this bike worries me a bit. Mainly because of that rear Elastomer set into the frame to give a soft ride. The only previous experience I have had of this system was a mate ogf mine had it on a Mountain bike around 1992. Forget the name of the manufacturer but it was something like "Proflex" It worked fine to take the sting out of the ride- but the elastomer had a habit of tearing. 3rd elastomer fitted and he welded the frame solid and fitted a suspension seat post---- The way most bikes of this type have gone.

Other manufacturers have tried and used this system before- but you don't see many of them on the road.

This bike does not have the kind of ergo bars you are talking about. I think the OP was referencing the overall ergonomics of the bike, not referring to the handlebar type. The BG Roulux has bars similar to North Road bars.

I don't think they're quite as curved as Norths, which look like cruiser beach bars. The BG Roulex appears to have more the "Euro style" bar, if I am to believe my LBS dude. Less of a curve. The specs indicate it has bars with "a 30mm drop, 50 degree back sweep, 8 degree down". It's hard to determine with the single side view on the website.
I went to two LBSs today, and neither had one in stock. Guess nobody has rode one yet around here.

Sorry I misunderstood the thread

That does look similar to the OffRoad/ProFlex/Girvin bikes. That company was big on elastomers. The elastomer in the Girvin FlexStem that I used held up ok.
