New Toy!!
My "new" 1997 Cannondale f700 I bought for these slippery streets during NYC Winters. https://picasaweb.google.com/11203834...eat=directlink I thought I was strickly a road bike kind of guy but I love it!!Love sliding around these snowy streets and except for a kind of soft shock it is in perfect shape.

Looks like the previous owner took real good care of it. Enjoy, and be careful on those slick streets, we're not as young as we use to be. I have a MTB that I ride in snow and wet slushy roads here in OH, I really enjoy it a lot.

Even better than getting a well cared for bike is getting a bike that hasn't been ridden at all. Judging from the paint, it looks like it just came out of the LBS, new! A great find!
I'm a fan of fenders, or I detest mud splatter, not sure which.
Might be a good addition if you will be riding it while the snow is melting.
Can't see for sure if you have eyelets near the drop outs for putting proper fenders on.

It's a mountain bike. It wants to be splattered with mud. Maybe you can find a replacement elastomer to firm up the suspension a bit.
