WELL SLAP MY ASS AND CALL ME SALLY!!!
My wife and I where riding tonight, and she still has issues with shifting, so we pulled into a development with wide streets, and no traffic. As we where cruising along, her practicing and working on her shifting, we saw some people on the side of the road with some cyclist. We where going slow, and pleasantries where exchanged. Nice. Then a rider passed us, on a road bike, and said hello. Then another, then another. Then about 7 or 8 guys on road bike, some with matching team kit. ALL of them said hello, nice night, have a good ride. You could have knocked me over with a feather. We had to pull over because my wife got a call(have to take it with the kids at home), so they passed us again, they ALL said hello again! Then after that, a different cyclist passed us,on a road bike, and he said hello!
I stand humbled and corrected.

We have no email at home until my son comes over to fix the computer. My only way to the Internet is to go to my "favorites" or Bing. While driving to work today I get a call from my wife who is concerned about all the security warnings on the computer screen and that the computer is locked up. Seems that my brother sent her an email with "no subject" and only an Internet address as the message. Since it wasn't a live link she copied and pasted the address to the browser. Well, we all know the rest... As her explanation as to why the action was taken, she says that my brother never sends her email and she thought the address might be to a vacation spot with big discounts since we went to Cancun with him and his wife last year.

Makes perfect sense.
If you're desperate, you could run out and buy a netbook for less than 300 bucks to get some quick interwebs access.

If you're REALLY desperate, you could go to your local library and use one of their computers there. Your tax dollars at work. May as well use them.

Disclaimer, My Father was a police officer and my son wants to be one BUT...

WTF, I get pulled over in my company owned (but lives with me) Ford F150 on I94. My radar detector was going off for a good mile before I saw Her on the left side of the road, I was in the right lane and I slowed down from like 70 to 68 (big deal right). At least two cars were passing me in the left lane probably going low 70's (which I think I should be safe!!)
Once past me I see she starts on to the Interstate and catches up to the car behind me who pulls over and she goes right past and gets on my ass so I pull over and I'm thinking WTF...

First thing she asks me is what happened to my front plate "Hi Officer I think it's in my garage at home, last winter a sheet of ice blew off of a semi and smashed into the front of my truck and took out the grille and plate and I never put it back on (cause it looks like crap and why do we need them I thought to myself)"

She then asks for my License, Insurance information and REGISTRATION. "Registration I ask, I've never carried that or have been asked to present that, can't you tell by running the plate if the vehicle is properly registered and up to date?" Nope state statute blah blah blahblah. "oh of course that one" I say.

She then asks if my front windows are tinted? "Yes I had them tinted because this big cabin gets warm in the summer and the tinting helps keep it cooler and I had given the installer instructions that I wanted to stay in compliance with the law"

Well she pulls out some device and tells me it's way under the limit of 50%.

Leaves and comes back and gives my a sheet that I have to send back after I get an office to sign off on it that I've, installed my front plate, Remove the window tint and show my vehicle registration.

Before she leaves she asks what kind of gas mileage I get with this truck?!! I think she was a lefty truck hater with nothing better to do and she was just fishing to cause me grief.

Mine was way too tight! (one size fits no one) Can I hang the tassel on the minivan's mirror?
I passed up the actual graduation & only went to the school of nursing ceremony. I may have been the oldest graduate attending - not sure- there was a slightly older lady/nurse in our class but few of us attended the ceremony.
Have fun!

I had a similar experience at my kindergarten graduation. They had to make another boy's and my mortarboard out of of oaktag paper because our heads were too big for the normal ones!
Originally, I had no plans to attend this ceremony, but I succumbed to peer pressure from my classmates. I say "peers" in the academic context only, I am older than most of my professors!
Love the tassel on the rearview! My kids would laugh hysterically! Gives me an idea, I'll get two for being an honors grad. Maybe I can use them for handlebar streamers.
