This could happen to you.

I thought about putting this in the humor thread, but seeing as how it's entirely on topic, I figured it deserved a thread of it's own.
The whole show is worth a listen, but go to 34:11 for the story about the bike.
It's the April 9th Vinyl Cafe podcast about 1/3 of the way down the page.

I sometimes hear him on NPR when I'm in the US, but you can always get him on-line. I can't decide whether I like him or Garrison Keillor better. They're both great.

People, this is side splittingly funny. I understand some folks don't follow links, so here's what you do if you don't trust my link. Google, CBC Vinyl Cafe podcast Apr 9 2011 Dave and the bike. You don't want to miss this one.

Go 34:11 into the podcast? I don't have THAT much time to blow.

Stuart and the Vinyl Cafe show (with Luke Doucet and Melissa Mcclelland) were in Indianapolis last weekend - my wife and I and another couple went and had a great time. And they say Canadians aren't entertaining? Who said that? Not true!
