Nothing wrong with your current weather- it is probably about average for the time of year. Last week was a bonus.
We are on a roll over here- Temps up into the 60's instaed of the 40's that we should be expecting.3 years ago on 6th april 2008 this was my garden.
2 weeks later and we had our summer for that year--4 weeks with the temp in the 80's

I'll be glad when things settle down here as well. Trying to make the best of the mild weather. It will be hot and humid before long, without a break until late October, if it's anything like last year.

I left the S. rim of the GC on Friday morning as the snow moved in. Our plan was to drive down to Flagstaff to meet a friend for lunch but the snow started to cover the roads before we got there. We decided to head on to Las Vegas instead for our flight home Sat. morning. We had great weather all week though. It was never hot, often quite refreshingly cool as we toured Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon and the GC. We did get some rain late Wed. and lots of wind on Thurs. The snow timed it about right. Once we got down the hill to Williams on I40 the snow had stopped. My friend said Flag got 11 inches of snow.

Here in Portland (OR) it's been pretty miserable this spring, only above 60F once so far this year. Mostly it's been in the upper 40's - low 50's, grey and rainy.
I guess whining about the weather is about as useless as it comes, but still...

Sounds like Omaha. Normally we have had some nice spring weather by now but it has been consistently gray and cool.

When we started the Hemet (CA) Double Century at 4:00 AM it was 41 deg.F. By the time we'd reached the toughest climb it was 106 deg.F and not a breeze . . .
Thankfully it had cooled off into the low 70's by the time we finished at 8:30PM!

Rick, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! number 50! I couldn't catch you and Luann (sp) after lunch. Sage killed me, it was so hot. It took me 50 miles to recover after the climb, I had to stop several times at stores to buy water and cool off. It was a swing of 65 degrees for the day. When it started to get dark is when I started to feel good again.

Lou Ann (you can call her Lulu) and I just hammered up Sage, no worries. 106 deg.F on my Garman up the Sage climb though. Lou really picked up after that and I had to work to stay on her wheel.
This is a photo Lynn Katano took of us pulling into lunch (104 miles done!). Lou Ann looks a lot better than I do. Well, she always looks better than I do, but you know what I mean.
And Dante, thanks for the great pull from the first checkpoint into Tom's Farms!

Well, we have two high end bike shops within five mikes and
three Walmarts. And miles of paved trails! Yes, we have a
few!
Back to the weather, this is my front yard, there is a utility trailer
and a car there some place??

In the 60s and 70s, I stood by and did nothing; and global cooling took care of itself. The predicted ice age never happened. Now global warming is going away, too. The latest scare is 'global change,' which I guess means warming AND cooling. No matter what happens, the sensationalists will tell us it's our fault; so why bother worrying about it?
A week and a half ago, it was 80F. Obviously a fluke. Yesterday, we had snow. Today, it got up to 37F. When is spring coming?
