I hesitate to bring this up after the last experience, but just realized TWL hasn't been around and I see he's been banned. What did he do?

From what was discussed before it was self inflicted, he asked to be banned. He is missed:(

Do we know why he did it?

Personal reasons? Which would make it none of our business, but I agree on missing his insightful input to this forum,

Why not just stop posting instead of dragging the mods into it?

In this forum, it helps to know that "missing" people haven't dropped dead.

Make sense to me. Unless posting was interfering with work, etc. and that was the only way he could stop. He did have streaks when he seemed to be on a lot.

He did. In a PM to, I think, DnvrFox. DF chose, rightly, not to reveal what was said and the reasons.

Not correct. I have never received a PM from TWL on this topic.

There have been a couple of threads on the subject of voluntary banning already. The moderators can't disclose any more than is listed in the Banned Users thread.
