I can't imagine any easier than my Shimano SPD M520 pedals with the tension on the lowest setting. I've never unintentionally unclipped, and am always able to very quickly and easily if needed. These were the ones I chose after reading a lot of comments about clipless systems for newbies.

Super interesting alcanoe, does that mean you must order by separate the 56 cleat? Are those easy to install?

From all of the above replies the answer is clear.....the easiest is what you become use to. I have used Speedplay Zeros for years, I can get out of them in my sleep, just automatic at this point. Pick a good clipless system and stick with it, after a very short time your brain, foot and petal will act as one, and the world will sing. Practice does indeed make perfect.

They install just like the 33s which are very easy. They should match the imprint of your 33s on the sole. They differ only in the shape of part of the cleat's contact area with the "clip" on the pedals. Al |

Many thanks... Very interesting. What's the difference between the 520 and the 530?
