Same here- News does seem a bit thin right now but I should think she has a lot on her plate right now. Hopefully she will log in occasionally to find out that she has a lot of friends here that wish her well.

My positive wishes are with you, too, Bev. I know your surgery was scheduled for today, and I know that all this BF positive energy can only make your healing faster.
Incidentally, I checked with my mom regarding her lumpectomy/radiation treatments and I was wrong in saying she has been cancer free for 8 years--it's actually been 12 years! I sincerely wish the same happy results for you! Know that from all over the country and in England, we are pulling for you!!!!

We ate at Italian Underground in Glenwood Springs and I thought of you along with the other 50+ attendees. In fact we sat at the same table. God speed on the recovery!

Beverly, I didn't know what you're illness was, and I'm very sorry you have it. But I do know a number of people between 2 and 12 years past surgery for Stage 1, still happily doing their things, from cycling to quilting.
Good luck and best wishes - come see us in Ann Arbor next year!

Hey Beverly, this thing can be beaten and you can do it!
We are about to celebrate Madame Pobble's 12th year of survivorship (stage 2B, lumpectomy/chemo/radiation), she has put lots of great miles on the odometer since then and willing to bet that you will be doing the same before long... hang in there...
