Bored but see what I found on You Tube.

One of those evenings where It is raining- no gardening and just sitting in front of the computer. Went to You Tube and found a bit on the London to Brighton Bike ride. Held every year on Fathers day and the ride gets a bit crowded. This is a video taken ascending the one hill on the ride- Ditchling Beacon. Camera work is not good but it shows two things- This ride gets crowded.

Second is a choice of Music that I had never thought of for Cycle vids---Good choice.

But to give a feel of the ride- This is better without the music. How he didn't find the crowds-I don't know.

54 mile ride with this at the end and 30,000 participants.

You really, really want to get out in the front of this ride early and stay there to avoid that zoo on the climb. And it's not all that steep, roughly 500ft in a mile, so maybe 10% steady ?. Just a ton of folks doing the hike-a-bike thing

I did the 5 Borough Bike Tour (NYC) once. 40,000 people. We walked for miles it seemed. Never again.
