That body slam to the pavement is something else, huh? I felt that when my front wheel was hooked by someone drifting to the left when I had foolishly overlapped him. We were on a ride together, and overlapped when he slowed and I thought he would just be speeding back up again - didn't realize he'd be turning. Anyway, I had a couple of seconds of "Ohhhh shiiii..." and then Wham! onto my right shoulder and hip. Couldn't move my arm for quite awhile, but nothing was broken. Rode home one-handed in one gear. Losing the front wheel pretty much guarantees you are going down hard.

I know you are hurting really bad right now, but am glad you came through okay, and with your motivation intact.

The first thing you think of... Is the bike OK ?
