What three feet of rain will do

A small area of Virginia's Northern Neck by my weekend house got 29 inches of rain in one day last week from the tropical storm that blew into the east coast. Wiped out roads all over the area. Below is what happened to the dam that separates Placid Lake from the waters of the Potomac. And, naturally, the former location of the road
I used to take to bike into town.

You might be swimming or hiring a boat by the looks of things.

29 inches isn't 3 feet.

My uncle has a place in the Northern Neck, sorry to see what happened down there.

That storm wrecked havoc all over the place.
