It's official!

Today is my 50th Birthday!

I joined this forum a little less than a year ago.
In that time I have really enjoyed the humor and learned from the advice and wisdom that comes from this forum (Fifty Plus (50+)).
Today however... I have officially earned the right to be here, today I am fifty years old. I have climbed back on a bike back in August 2010 and have been feeling better than I have in the years gone past.

Cycling.... It's going to keep me young!

Deltarebel 10-04-11 04:32 AM

Your not getting old, just closer to retirement, 15 years to go, until you can trade your big house in Philly for a cottage and put the rest into a Condo in Florida....

Hmmm...I wonder if the SDRST (Secret Decoder Ring Security Team) confiscated it at the border?:p

HAPPY B-DAY! My words of advice: Stay hungry and don't grow up (Peter Pan "got it").

Naw, it probably went astray at the US Postal Service, before it got to the border, it couldn't have gone astray here in Canada.... Actually, having worked in the delivery business for the last decade, and now working for Canada Post, if you look at the amount of stuff, even a small post office handles, you would be amazed at how little does go astray. Most items that do go astray are not addressed properly, but will eventually end up where they should go.

Big Bad G 10-05-11 06:24 AM

Welcome aboard the old guy's boat. Decoder ring, somebody say decoder ring?

willb1046 10-06-11 04:10 AM

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

No un-happily I have to say that I have been fighting a nasty bug. I am now on antibiotics and am planning on a group ride in New Jersey on Sunday. What milage I am short I plan on riding once I get back to my neighborhood. (Hope that still counts)
