Benjamin Franklin first said that, and he was talking about beer, but still a good quotation.

There is a good article on regular and chocolate milk in the new issue of Bicycling Magazine. Not sure if that is what started this thread or not but the article is worth reading.

That's why God gave us Lactaid tablets.

If there was a God broccoli would taste like chocolate milk.

They were giving out chocolate milk on STP (Seattle to Portland) ride at the 100 mi. mark. My wife and I ride 125 mi. the first day (to Vader), so it was a great recovery stop drink for us!

I thought Benjamin Franklin was an atheist.

If so, Franklin would have at least converted just prior to dying. Nobody's an atheist when they're about to die.

Ovaltine. Let me repeat that: Ovaltine. Since I was 6 years old...that would be 58 years ago. An American institution. I miss Bosco.

Best news I've heard in a long time. I hate milk but love chocolate milk. I wonder if the same is true for soy or almond milk.

I believe that the addition of chocolate into milk decreases the body's ability to utilize the calcium in the milk.

Switch to egg nog during the holidays.

Any benefits to drinking 'eggnog'?

39 posts and about 2 that actually respond to the OP's question. Apparently senile dementia is a lot more pervasive than even the most dire predictions would indicate. The chocolate milk thing came up 3-4 years ago and....you guys are hopeless. Merry Christmas.

It tastes really, really good? I put in my coffee this time of year.

Chocolate milk - it was the only thing I could choke down at 3:30 in the morning before & after my lap in the 24 hour race my friend talked me into doing a few years back. In between swallows I was cursing her for asking and me for saying yes.

Just got back from school lunch. One of the kids did not even touch his chocolate milk...but I did : )
keep on biking, even if it has to be indoors cause of the cold. I hate cold.
