Came in today! Apparently our local post office can't tell the difference between "Circle Drive" and "Choctaw Drive" (it was correct on the label). The resident of the incorrect address brought it to the house this morning.
Looks like I have some weight to lose... Apparently I should have chosen an XXL (XXXL?) instead of XL. I'm 6' 2", 228 lbs and I'm guessing maybe -30 lbs would get me into it. I normally wear regular XL t-shirts and they're loose on me. Not parachute-flapping-in-the-breeze loose, but not tight when standing relaxed, either (I also wear 38" waist jeans). I'm guessing this XL jersey is about the size of a M t-shirt. Without stretching it when I put it on, the two sides of the zipper were about 6" apart in the middle (closest) and about a foot apart at the bottom. When I zipped it up, it looked like it was painted on me. This is not a criticism of Curtis at all! On the contrary, I really appreciate his efforts and should have just ordered a much larger size, I guess. I thought I read carefully enough to choose the right size, but obviously not. Now I'll have to wait until next time around... darn it! I recall seeing a few posts from individuals who wanted a jersey but were too late to order. Anyone intersted? I'll let you have it for $60 shipped in the US. I put it on just once, over a t-shirt, so it's not even touched my skin. :thumb: Thanks. |
The 39 jersey is for those 50+ who are shy about admitting it.
