For those not following the stickie, the jerseys arrived and are now in the mail.
Thanks for being so patient.

Thank you for your work on this - I know it wasn't a trivial task, and the hassles of your supplier fouling things up just add to the headache. Again, thanks!! Looking forward to the jersey, and weather warm enough for to wear it in!

Come on now a little rain, wind, fog and West Coast winter weather wouldn't stop a true 50+'er from displaying their colours. What are you one of those transplanted Eastern wimps? :innocent: (Now to run and hide)

You guys are going to love those jerseys, I know mine is the best jersey I have and gets worn the most.. Thanks to Curtis for all the hard work he has to put into these buys.

Danged right you better run and hide. Not only have I lived in the PacNW for over 20 years, I was born and raised a ridge runner in the hills of the South. In East Tennessee, we got the benefit of both nasty humid summers and nasty icy winters. No wimp in this old redneck, at all. Put up yer dukes!

Looks like you have your weekend planned out.

tsl 12-04-11 02:09 AM

Excellent news!

I've already grown tired this year of wearing a hi-viz commuting jacket on my weekend rides. The 50+ jacket and summer jersey will give me four seasons of 50+ kit.

Blues Frog 12-04-11 02:52 AM

Easy David58. Put that can of spinach down and nobody will get hurt. I wish I had been conscious of the buy. Will have to be ready next time.

Peter_C 12-04-11 01:03 PM

I so want to get one of these! I really hope (will pay more $$) 4XL-5XL will be available next time :)

bassplyr 12-04-11 01:40 PM

thanks for taking on this task.

GaryPitts 12-04-11 09:02 PM

Thank you. Thank you!!!

PhilWinIL 12-04-11 09:34 PM

Thanks for taking on the task Curtis! Now it's just waiting for the warmer weather to come back around here!

It will be interesting to see what comments I get when I walk out of the office ready for the 20+ mile ride with this jersey on.

Curtis, This looked like an arduous task! Thanks so much for your efforts!

chasmm 12-05-11 10:51 AM

Wow...that was fast! Got my windjacket in this morning's mail. FYI, I'm on Long Island NY.

Thanks again Curtis for all of the work you put into this each time.

All that is required now is the posting of your new 50+ clothing out on one of your rides- Just to prove it fits of course.

miss kenton 12-05-11 05:51 PM

Got mine today. It was like Santa came early! Except he mailed it. And I had to pay him.
Anyway, I really like it. Thanks again, Curtis.

DarrellA 12-05-11 07:35 PM

Hi Curtis I got mine today as well. I will echo the others in thanking you for all your efforts in getting these out to everyone.

Ditto!! Excellent quality and workmanship.

What's the meaning of 'Dulcis ex asperis' on the collar of the jersey?

The Latin is roughly translated as: "Through suffering, sweetness," or "sweeter after difficulties," or "after difficulty, sweetness"

alfredo 12-05-11 09:23 PM

Mine arrived today. Thank you Curtis.

Brew1 12-06-11 06:55 AM

I received my bibs and my Wife's Jersey yesterday. I will give her the jersey next year on her 50th birthday  I assume the mailman was lazy and I'll get my jersey today.

Wore the bibs on my trainer and they fit and feel real good.....

cccorlew 12-06-11 07:55 AM

Every item went in its own package. I'm getting mail from people who ordered two things and got only one. Here's hoping today or tomorrow will bring the other package.
USPS... go figure.

CbadRider 12-06-11 10:50 PM

I got mine today. Thank you so much for organizing this!
