Sinful Brownies
I just found this on the internet, and they are just 2 towns over, and I never even heard about them! http://www.sinfulsquares.com/home/
The whole summer gone - I could have been riding over there every Tuesday! now that's a sin. |
I have had to stop looking at the page. I do not have a weight problem but if I only lived two towns away--I think I could have.
|
Fortunately for me, "two towns over" is a 100 mile round trip.
Unfortunately for me, I have two killer brownie recipes. Or, is that the other way around? |

Is one of them a recipe from your hippy dippy younger years, you know the type with the "special herbs" in them?

They are JUST what I (a type 1 diabetic) need to look at :p
Mind you, a half eaten square before a 10 mile ride could be followed by the other half at the end, along with some water and nice strong coffee. A blood sugar check right after, and about 2 hours after the ride would determine if a reapplication of the treatment would be necessary :D Yes, nice to think about, but a practical way to burn off those square, simple sugars is to ride them "off" and thus stay within healthy limits of ... :innocent: |

I'm done with that stuff. Way too many problems arise from them. |

I would take fried chicken over brownies anyday.
|
That would be a good fried chicken not that KFC carp, I presume.

Heathen indeed. |
Fried chicken for the main course and brownies for dessert or the other way around I wouldn't be picky.:D
|
Fried chicken... made the old fashioned way.
Makes me think of the old Britannia pub in Freeport where the fried chicken was so good, the ride would be worth it. That... and because it is in the Bahamas. |
Brownies... BLECHHH!!!

Us fixie riders get to hammer off those calories rather quickly.... :D Uh, they do offer a Chocolate Brownie Dessert bar. |

Not a Heathen at all. I must concur. I live only minutes away from the Blue Ribbon Barbecue Man, oh man.. That stuff is tasty. I do not, repeat, do not, know how they get their green beans to be so tasty. Definitely got some smoked meat in there, but how do they do it? The ribs are great, but my favorite is the brisket platter. Comes with Mashed potatoes and greens beans it does, it does!

Heretic. :notamused: |
Fried chicken, hot, crisp on the outside, that dribbles clear, savory juice down your fingers when you bite it trumps a brownie anyday.
