Actually he's Santa Claus (if I remember a beard correctly) and has been around a lot longer but just isn't telling anybody ;)

Happy birthday to you fellow early January capricorn! Hope you get to ride.

You are now eligible for the 65-85+ thread. Doesn't that make you happy, youngster?

This is one race with me you will NEVER win.

Happy birthday. :)

Someone reckoned out that I am a bit too old for work last year and I have to agree with them. I'll go to pasture later this year when it warms up. BUT working today and for some reason- I am glad to be home. Weather forecast for tomorrow "Says" that it won't rain and the wind will drop below 20mph so hopefully riding tomorrow. The new bike is being researched now so watch this space.

Many thanks for the wishes but I am "Home Alone" tonight. Just aswell as I have the last of the Christmas cake to finish and there is still the 1/2 bottle of Cognac that I managed to hide from everyone else over the new year. Cheers everyone. (Hic)

I wanted to have your tea served to you in your garden today, but this is the closest I could get. It's the thought that counts, right? Happy Birthday Stapfam! Many more!

Much as I enjoy the garden--Not this week. Last Saturday the winds started and I did get a lot of work done in it. Sunday up till midday and the wind was there and the rain storm started-2" in a couple of hours. Monday and it was still raining but the wind got the better of me. We have had a week of 50mph winds and 6" of horizontal rain that means that I am glad I managed a bit of gardening at the weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to be calmer but Not pinning too much hope on a long ride.

But Tea in the Garden? Perhaps next week.

Excellent! That will give me time to save up for the fee. Oh, Doug? If you see that guy pedaling across your lawn next week with a tea tray, don't go after him with a rake, okay?
