Got the Mtn bike out last night

Been meaning to do this before now but (the holidays...yada yada...). 20 year old Cannondale Team Volvo mtn bike. Bought a Minewt mini cordless light(WOW!) and rode trails near my home. First time on the trails and at night and really my first-ever night ride and (yeah I know) by myself. Had to use the compass on my smart phone to get back out . No biggie really. The trails are in a suburban setting, surrounded on all sides by roads so getting really lost is not a possibility. I had many people know where I was in case of an accident but yeah riding alone is not smart. I have decades of experience with woods riding dirt bikes so I have a built in comfort level with the woods and knowing what my limitations are and knowing not to be stupid.
But I had a blast and would heartily recommend the Minewt mini CORDLESS light. Awesome light!
Now to get some of my regular group to join me...

Now if KTM just made a MTB you would be riding matched sets!

Man, the Mtn bike world would be so grateful if they did! They understand woods riding more than any manufacturer of dirt bikes. Then again it might be like Cannondale making dirt bikes and we know how that turned out

I love riding MTB at night. The trails look completely different at night. I put a P7 flashlight on the helmet and a Minute 2 light on the bar. That gives me light where I'm looking and where the bike is headed. The trails are in a park and not extreme.

How many lumens does your Mininewt put out? I recently bought a 350 lumen one but I haven't taken it out at night yet.

350. Same thing. Works fine. 600 would be nice, but...

Selling my old Cannondale and getting a used Cannondale F29 Lefty hardtail. If anyone is interested in my old Cannondale, feel free to PM me.

Here's a couple of pics. Keep in mind the camera is a cell phone and not the best at capturing light at night. The light the Minewt throws out is much brighter than the pics show.

West Tn riding at it's best. No rocks. Tons of roots
