Super Bowl versus a ride.

So who is going to watch the Stupid Bowl tomorrow rather than going for a bike ride? You might get an idea of what I plan from my question.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to either, unless I ride in the morning. Have theater tickets for "Les Miserables". But if I didn't, I would take the bike ride over the Super Bowl as I can always tape the game if I were really interested.

For me, if I didn't have the theater tickets, the weather here is just to gorgeous to ride a trainer while watching the Super Bowl.

Watch a bunch of overpaid prima donnas dancing around, ride my bike (supposed to be 40 and raining), watch a movie? The movie wins.

Take advantage of everyone being in front of TV and go for a "peaceful' ride with very few cars--unfortunately I have a bad cold and don't want to turn it into pneumonia!

Around hear most everyone will be watching The Game. The roads should be quiet. But I'll probably be watching The Game too. I may get a ride in earlier though.

I will be taking my first zumba class with MY daughter & MY sister! If I pass out on the dance studio floor, it will still be more fun than watching the Stupor Bowl.

Since the New England Patriots are playing, most certainly around here everyone will be watching The Game. You wanna see quiet roads? My neighborhood, Kenmore Square, the virtual Crossroads of College Life in Boston, will be closed to traffic and under Police lockdown, with a Civil Disorders Unit on stand-by.

Both. Game's not until 8 EST.

It bothers me that I can tell you the TdF winners over the last 15 years but would be hardpressed to tell you who won the Super Bowl last year. It's unamerican.

BTW, the last several SB games have been well-played and entertaining. Not sure why so many of you feel the need to announce your displeasure with it. It's not a government-mandated activity, ya know

My "Superbowl" came at lunch time. Home made Chicken and veg soup. Absolutely ideal on a 20f morning of freezing in the garden. Then dinner was home made chicken casserole followed by a serving of home made Gooseberry Pie.

I am enjoying the cold weather. So much in fact that a 2nd slice of pie might be supper. You need to keep the calory intake up in this cool weather.

I love football, and I love to watch the superbowl! Haven't missed one yet, and don't think I ever will. My wife loves it too! Oh back to the question... Ride in the morning; weather permitting; we are having flash-flood warnings in the area, then after the ride settle in, make some chicken and sausage gumbo and enjoy the game.

I'm telling you! But if you see the price of these tickets, you'll know why I have to go to the theater.

Not all of us are big sports fans. I enjoy a football game every now and then but I don't go out of my way to watch them. If my son is watching a game, I'll sit and watch it, but if it's between a football game and a good movie, the movie wins every time.

I plan to start my day with a bike ride. Then drive down to Bean-town for a Celtics game and come home to catch the first half of the Super Bowl. If I have the steam, I might watch more.

It will be a busy day.

Go to church Sunday morning and sing in choir.
Ride bike Sunday afternoon.
Go to church Sunday evening.
Go to friend's house and watch game.

Only thing is, I'm not sure who to root for, the Cubs or the Celtics?
