Knees and Visco Supplementation: Your Experience?

I have arthritic issues on both knees. Cortisone shots seem to help in one knee, but not the other. Today, I had the first visco supplementation injection and the next two are scheduled. I am curious if others have benefited or not from these injections. How long does it take to notice any improvement (if there is any) and what is the duration of symptom/pain relief?

I can cycle just fine as long as I do not push big gears, but walking and other basics of daily life are a chore. Just trying to go as long as possible before the next step of knee replacement.
