Yuk???
Been thinking about it for some time and a decision has to be made--And I made it today. Walked into the shop and the owner had all the answers to a few questions I had made a few weeks ago. At that time I still had a couple of options but they had settled down to two choices. So I ordered it- Sight unseen and just ordered it on the specification- and a good price. Size is not a problem although it could be a bit tight if it comes in Italian sizing. Then they told me the only only colour choice and it is Silver and White.
I don't like white and silver is not my favourite colour. Just Hope I won't regret it.

Tried ordering a Giant right now?--They just are not available in the UK. Looked for a TCX in "S" size-No defy's available- TCR are just as bad. The only ones I could get were top end that I cannot afford- or models I was not interested in. The Whyte Cross bike is not available in a 51- they don't make that size yet and I have not been able to find a dealer with a cross bike in stock-let alone a 53 so I could try for size.
So Pinarello-- I was looking for an FP1 but The concessionaire has none in stock--The dealers that have them listed as a 2011 bike- Don't have a 50 frame in any colour and once again they are not available unless I want the largest frames.
This bike is to be my Runaround bike--Won't call it a beater but it will be the everyday bike--Unless it rides really well- in which case it may get elevated.
Going against the current buying trend--This is an Aluminium frame and that is what I was looking for. Triple butted lightweight and race Geometry--Similar to my Boreas and will not be much heavier. Wheels are the let down and I may have to buy a decent set for it.
Other bikes that were in the running were some good deals I was offered in a Scott CR1 Pro and a few Felts. Once again- not available in my size so It was look at what was available. The UNO was not my first choice- till I tried a test ride of an FP1 a mate has. They are no longer available so I trust the UNO is just as good as it is the replacement for the FP1.
AND THE COLOUR-- Shows how much it doesn't interest me as it was not till I got home that I found out what a Silver/White bike looks like. The white is still not my choice but the silver does not look too bad.

Looks like you ride the same size frame as I do. If it gets too cold to ride there just send it to me and I will make sure you get a good 6.5k on it this year.

You could always strip it down to just the frame before you ride it and take the frame down to the local auto repair shoppe and have them paint it a more pleasing colour like British Racing Green or such.
