Just went out for a quick ride
Mountain bike. Got to riding area expecting maybe to see someone at the designated 1 pm meet time. No one. Set out on trail by myself. First half mile, flat rear tire. No problem, fixed quickly(as I've said before bicycle tires are child's play, compared with a dirt bike).
I get half-way around the trail and look to see if anyone showed up. Found a friend. We go to ride a loop, get half way again and run into another friend. Finish the loop with them and decide to leave. Run into another friend.
Back out again and after another half-loop I decide to leave. Get to the parking lot and see vehicles of two other friends. I call them and plan to meet them along the trail(me riding backwards on the trail). Meet up with them and finish the loop.
What was supposed to be a nice, easy 4 miles turned into 12.5 on the day. Was fun..... and tiring. Great day!
