Anyone that is anyone that says that a cyclist with a visor doesnt have "street creds" is one superficial idiot!!!!

Who really cares what someone like that thinks. The fact is they probably dont think.

A helmet visor distracts me so I don't use them. A MTB would be a different thing, I'd use one as a deflector as we do in dirt bikes. Each person will decide, hopefully on their own, what works for them.

The visor on my Giro Pneumo road helmet is adjustable so I can tuck it out of the way when it's not needed. I often ride late in the day and I can't see a thing without the visor (even with sunglasses) when I'm riding into the evening sun.
