Bike trainer suggestions needed
My friend wants to spin in his home on his bike and asked me for equipment suggestions. He can spend in the $300 range. Since this isn't my area of expertise, I thought i'd ask you. Any suggestions?

Kurt Kinetic road machine is a good one around that price range. Runs fairly quiet and smooth. The fluid resistance feels more natural than magnetic units and the magnetic coupling means it is less likely to leak fluid than one with a shaft.
But when it comes down to actually riding even a good trainer, given a choice between riding the trainer and visiting the dentist, I would have to think about it for a while.
