Electric scooters

I keep getting emails wanting me to buy an electric scooter to increase my mobility. Just cause I'm old doesn't mean I need a scooter. Any of you guys get those emails?

No. But I have a skin condition and take a medicine for it that's normally a diabetes drug. I don't have diabetes but I got on more diabetes service suckers lists than I ever knew existed.

A Vespa-type scooter, which is cool, or a "fatty-wagon" type, which is not?

No. I didn't get an AARP card either. Now I will take a Senior discount but I will never do AARP.

Facebook and you get a load of ads on the side of the page. Mine are all about Cycling-Age related and "I have a new friend for you" (An advert) I stay off the new friend bit as Most of them are younger than my daughter and wear less clothing than I do at night.

Stapfam, you forgot to mention that your youngest grandchild is a better conversationist and in all likelyhood is smarter than most of the young ladies that they want you to befriend.

Based on your age demographic, you now appear on their marketing radar. But wait, there's more to come as you get older.

Get medicaid to buy the electric scooter and integrate the motor into your road bike.

I get a bunch of those scooter ads. I have concluded AARP and also AAA are like subscriptions to junk mail!

I get them and once I'm old enough for medicare I'll take them up on the offer so long as its at no cost to me. I want to be legally able to terrorize pedestrians and shoppers at the local markets!

Haven't seen them yet. All I get are the ones from Beautiful Russian women, who want to meet me for friendship, marriage, and much more.

Been getting irrelevant ads for two decades and just throw them in the recycle bin and cycle away!
