It just feels good!
Went for the typical Sunday morning ride (30 miler) with Team CBC here in North Carolina this weekend. It was about 20 deg F cooler than the summer rides. Great folks, beautiful scenery. Best ride in a long time. I couldn't help thinking how good the bike felt. I had been working through frequent RD adjustments due to cable stretch, seatpost, stem and saddle swaps to get comfortable on the old aluminum-frame bike through the summer... Everything felt great! Funny thing is that I had been off the bike for 3 weeks, since the MS 150 weekend in New Bern, NC. Leaves me wondering if extended recovery time, the cooler weather, or some other factor made the difference. Any ideas?

Cue the James Brown music! Probably all the factors came together in a perfect storm of "feel good"edness for you.

It was a glorious day for riding Sunday. Glad you were able to get out.
Love the bike. My brother got Eddie to sign his frame when he was at a local bike shop a few years ago.
