Excellent Article on 50+ Riders in the Sept. RBA

First off, I am in no way connected to RBA nor do I solicit anyone to buy or subscribe to the Road Bike Action Magazine. The newest issue (September) has an excellent article by Dr. Jonathan Edwards. It addresses, in short, several issues we have discussed here in the immediate past. I was surprised that the number of 50+ riders in cyclosportives is growing so fast in relation to the other age groups.

He has some good points we have also put forth and some good references that I am going to use. Members of 50+ may want to read the article and a few others with good information in them. Seems that the 50+ crowd is getting a nice bit of positive publicity. They have good sidebars on two 50+ athletes competing on a world class level, too.

Bill

I have the magazine, but haven't opened it yet. thanks for the heads-up - will study it!

I know that most mags get little respect on the '41' road cycling forum, but I like RBA, and should probably save some $$ by subscribing. (I already subscribe to Bicycling.)

Uh - oh ... major faux pas! I shouldn't have admitted that!

Downloaded and read RBA. The article was OK, but you get better info hanging around this place, except for the Teddy Roosevelt as cardiologist stuff.
